English Renaissance-Neoclassic Adam Characteristics Chairs Modern Round Back Chairs  The modern round back chair clearly took inspiration from the Adam Characteristics Chairs. They have a similar style to them. Also, the round back chairs are used in rooms that try to mimic the style of rooms created in the English Renaissance. The style has just been more modernized now. English Renaissance Mirror Modern Mirror Mirrors are coming back into style now. Which is so cool! But as we see in most furniture pieces that are created nowadays they are much more modern and simplistic. The Mirror that was created in the English Renaissance is much more extravagant and a statement piece.  English Renaissance Eden Fabric Eden Fabric Made Today Eden Fabric is a detailed fabric that was common during the English Renaissance. English Renaissance-Neoclassic Tudor Style Contemporary Tudor Style I thought it was really cool that there was a contemporary Tudor Style. I just found out that this is what this style is called but I really like it. They took similar aspects from the original Tudor style. Some are the steep roof lines, the windows' shape and ornamentation, and even similar color palettes. The French Renaissance was followed by styles such as the Neoclassical style. Neoclassic armchair  Modern Armchair Modern armchairs are much simpler than armchairs made during that time. These chairs were pieces of art. They are very detailed and handmade. That also means they were much more expensive than chairs that are made now in factories. This is very common for furniture built today. I personally think it is a dying art. Regency Style (1700 - 1730) Regency Style The Modern Regency style is based on the Regency style created during the Neoclassical period. This style is used still today in more traditional homes. It is a beautiful style but it tends to be expensive since mo...

French Canopy Bed Modern four post Bed  The reason a canopy bed was created was to be able to close the curtains and have privacy. All of the modern versions of the bed have no curtains it is all just for the aesthetics. The modern version is very minimalistic and sleek and the older version is more ornate. Coffered Ceiling  Modern-day Coffered Ceiling  The Coffered Ceiling in The Gallery of Henry II Chateau de Fountainbleau is a very beautifully detailed ceiling. The point of the ceiling was to add visual interest to a normally boring space. The idea is the same behind the moder...
